How to do itMany people interested in HTM already have a lot of the skills they already need. People with mechanical, electrical, and/or computer skills can usually get started right away while attending school to get fully prepared. Some positions that are available for beginners: CE-Tech's Biomedical Associate position Mayo and Trimedx have non-degree-holding positions and apprenticeships While working in or near the field, you can go to school. FSCJ is in Jacksonville and has an A.S. Biomedical Equipment Technician program. Some students get Bachelor's degrees or beyond.
